What makes the Saturday following the new moon an auspicious day and why do we celebrate it as “Sao Chanchhar”?.

Mata Suchet Devi was a virtuous, graceful, unassuming, and honorable lady who spent her entire life in serving Raharki Saheb. Her compassionate nature touched everyone’s heart as she worked with utmost devotion and sincere intentions. She tirelessly served at Raharki Sahib and took care of the Bhandara Sahib, ensuring that no one went hungry. Mata Saheb always made sure that there was enough food for everyone.
Mata Suchet Devi was a virtuous and noble woman, who dedicated her life to the service of Raharki Saheb. Her immense dedication and selflessness left a deep impression on everyone who knew her. Mata Saheb took charge of the Bhandara Sahib, ensuring that no one went hungry, and took special care of the elderly, needy, poor women, and children.

Mata Saheb’s knowledge extended beyond mere food provision. She also possessed knowledge of common illnesses and remedies, including snakebites. Mata Saheb went the extra mile to personally attend to the guests at Raharki Sahib. She prepared and packed lunch boxes for the travelers, ensuring they would reach their destinations without any delay.

As a humble and saintly woman, Mata Saheb was dedicated to daily religious practices, which included meditation, prayer, and serving everyone at Sant Satram Dham. Her life was an epitome of selflessness, compassion, and devotion to the service of humanity.
Maata Sahib was a devoted and spiritual woman who deeply revered her life partner, Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Saheb, whom she regarded as her Parmatma and worthy of honor. She devoted herself to the worship and reverence of Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib.

Maata Suchet Devi was a divine lady who was blessed to be in the grace of Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib.

When the time came for Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib to leave this materialistic world, he sent a message to Sant Sai Kanwarram Sahib, who was attending a bhakti program in Shikarpur. Upon receiving the message, Sant Sai Kanwarram Saheb promptly returned to Raharki Sahib.

When he arrived, Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Saheb told him that his time in this materialistic world was coming to an end and requested that he take care of everyone who was doing seva at Raharki Sahib.

Upon hearing this, Sant Sai Kanwarram Sahib was filled with disheartenment and deep sorrow. He could not fathom living without his revered Satguru, who was the very essence of his being. With tears in his eyes, he expressed his feelings to Shehenshah Satguru and asked who would guide the people and him after Satguru’s departure.

Witnessing the disappointment and sorrow on Sant Kanwarram Sahib’s face, Shehenshah Satguru reassured him by saying, “Kanwar, I will always reside in your heart, and you will never miss me. Whenever you remember me, I will come to you.”
Mata Suchet Devi was present during the conversation between Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib and Sant Sai Kanwarram Sahib. She too expressed her desire to leave with Satguru Sai because she could not imagine living without him. When Sai Satramdas Sahib questioned her about their children, Mata Saheb had complete faith in God that he would take care of them.

Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib was well aware of Mata Suchet Devi’s virtuous and saintly character and he agreed to her request. On the auspicious day of Satyanarayan, 25th January 1910, Shehenshah Sai left his physical body.

An unusual incident occurred when Sant Kanwarram Saheb intended to travel to Haridwar to offer the sacred mortal remains of Shehenshah Satguru to Ganga. Whenever he made plans to leave, something would happen, causing him to delay his travel. Months passed, but he could not make the journey to offer the mortal remains of Shehenshah Satguru Sai to Maa Ganga.

In September 1910, Mata Suchet Devi passed away from this world to be reunited with her Satguru. Then, in October 1910, a miraculous event occurred. Sant Sai Kanwarram Saheb was finally able to make the journey to Haridwar to offer the sacred mortal remains of Shahanshah Satguru to Maa Ganga. Surprisingly, he also had to carry the mortal remains of Shahanshah Satguru, which had been resting at Devri Saheb since January 25, 1910.

On Saturday, October 8, 1910, the mortal remains of both Mata Saheb and Shahanshah Satguru were offered together to Maa Ganga. It was a great miracle, as Shahanshah Satguru had fulfilled his promise to Mata Suchet Devi by accompanying her to become One with Param Pita Parmeshwar.

On October 8th, 1910, the glorious union of Shehenshah Satguru and Mata Suchet Devi occurred. This day, which was a Saturday, became significant as their mortal remains were offered to Maa Ganga . Hence, we celebrate this day as Sao Chhanchhar. It is a remarkable example of their magnificence and union.

Sacho Satram.
