Once when the illustrious Sant Sai Satramdas was on his way back from Thal after bidding farewell to Samanaram, he was approached by two Brahmins from Badeen who asked for Rs. 500/- for their daughter’s wedding. They informed Sant Satramdas Sahib that they had traveled on foot to Raharki Sahib and learned of his presence in Thal.

Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib promised to provide the requested amount to the Brahmins after his evening prayers, using the offerings collected for the needy. However, the Brahmins expressed their concerns about losing respect in society and potentially jeopardizing their daughter’s upcoming marriage if it was known that they had received the funds from the offerings.

Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib, upon hearing their concerns, still provided them with the money and advised that they should be grateful to God always, maintain their true respect and not put up a false front to impress others. He encouraged them to maintain their dignity by being honest and to be thankful to the Lord for providing health, happiness, and protection in their lives.

Sacho Satram.
