The purpose of Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib’s arrival on this earth was to bestow blessings upon people, heal their seemingly incurable illnesses, and eradicate ignorance from their lives. His door was open to all – the unhappy, the needy, the rich, and the poor – who sought his divine blessings.

A man by the name of Ladomal Dhanraj Advani approached Sant Satramdas Sahib with a severe case of leprosy and itching, which caused open wounds all over his body. With the help of the blessings and medication prescribed by Sant Satramdas Sahib, Ladomal began to recover and eventually regained his health. During his stay at Raharki Sahib, Ladomal became deeply attached and connected to Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satram Das Sahib, and found it difficult to part ways with the beloved presence of Saijan.

Ladomal had the privilege of witnessing Sant Satramdas Sahib’s divine darshan every day. He listened attentively to his Satsangs, participated in NAAM SIMRAN, and selflessly served at Sant Satram dham Sahib. Gradually, he became so engrossed in the love of his beloved Satguru, Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib, that he forgot about his family and former life.

However, during his stay at Sant Satram dham, Ladomal would repeatedly scratch his wounds with his nails, preventing them from healing properly. One day, Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib asked Ladomal to sit beside him and inquired about why his wounds were not healing.

In response, Ladomal explained, “Oh my beloved Satguru, these wounds allow me to bask in your divine presence. If they heal, I will have to leave and return to the illusory world. Humans tend to forget about the Lord when they are happy and only remember Him during their times of hardship. I desire to stay with you, my beloved Satguru, and if these wounds remain, I can continue to do so. However, if they heal, I will lose this privilege. In one of your beautiful Satsangs, you spoke of Lord Krishna’s last visit to Hastinapur. When he asked Kunti if she desired anything, she requested that all her sorrows be returned to her. Lord Krishna asked her why she wanted her sorrows back, as she had already suffered so much in life and deserved to be happy. But Kunti replied that when she was suffering, she had frequent divine darshans of the Lord, while comfort kept her away from Him for so many years. Therefore, she pleaded with the Lord to take away her comforts and return all her sorrows so that she could remain with Him forever.”

Ladomal expressed to the Beloved Satguru, “These wounds and boils keep me attached to you, so I do not wish for them to heal. Because of these experiences, I have been trapped in the cycle of birth and death. Please grant me liberation from this cycle, and allow me to live under your shelter. Those who serve selflessly, without complaining about difficulties or disappointments, with complete faith under the guidance of a true Satguru, are free from sorrow and blessed with the gift of NAAM, and attain Moksha at the Lotus feet of God.”

Upon witnessing Ladomal’s profound love, heartfelt plea, and unwavering devotion, Sant Satram Das Sahib bestowed his divine blessings upon him, granting him liberation from all the sufferings in his life. Having received the blessing of NAAM DAAN and under the guidance of Sant Satramdas Sahib, Ladomal dedicated his life to selfless service, eventually transcending the illusions of the world and merging with the divine to attain Moksha.

Sacho Satram.
