Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib’s compassion extended beyond just humans, as he also showed kindness and care towards all other living beings.

According to Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib, the human form is a precious gift from the beloved Lord. It is highly regarded because it gives us the opportunity to become one with the Lord through meditation on his holy name. As humans, we can please the Lord by sharing our blessings with others.

In our households, cities, societies, and countries, those in positions of power have a duty to take care of the safety and needs of those under them. They are honored and respected as masters or leaders when they carry out their duties with honesty and efficiency. A person in a high position is regarded as the best of all if they take care of their subordinates with complete honesty. However, if they disrespect their duties due to their ego and cause trouble and harm to people, they will lose their self-respect, and everyone will hate them. In this way, they disrespect their dignified human form.

We are blessed to be sent to this earth in the highly regarded and eminent human form, which is higher than all other forms of living beings.
As humans, it is our duty to care for the safety and well-being of all living beings on this earth, which is a precious gift from the beloved Lord. By fulfilling this duty with honesty, we uphold our moral values, dignity and respect in the eyes of the Lord.

Sant Satramdas Sahib, a blessing for humans and all living beings, taught during his bhakti and satsangs the importance of caring for all creatures, as they are all the beloved Lord’s children, and the soul that resides in humans is present as God’s charisma in others too. He urged people to wake up and fulfill their duty towards all living beings, rather than wasting time on self-centered thoughts.

Sant Satram Das Sahib not only blessed and took care of the birds and animals in the vicinity of Dham Sahib, but also ventured into the forests to bless them and feed them according to their food requirements. He offered them roti, food, grains, sweet tapashas, sugar, and candy sugar, even to the big black and small ants.
doing so, he helped them recognize the value of their own human form. He emphasized that humans have a responsibility to be caretakers and ensure the prosperity of all living beings, as they have been blessed with the greatest form on earth by the Almighty.

Sant Satramdas Sahib’s noble and selfless services were greatly revered by people, and they praised his greatness. As a result of his teachings, people stopped harming and torturing birds and animals, and began to take care of them by providing food, water, and shelter. They even kept some animals as domestic pets.

In following Sant Satramdas Sahib’s teachings, people started keeping utensils filled with water, cereals, and pulses on their rooftops and terraces for the birds. They also made arrangements to feed animals and insects, and created large ponds outside their houses to store water for animals. Sant Satramdas Sahib himself applied medicines to the wounds of injured animals and birds, and personally attended to sick cattle, providing them with medical treatment.

Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib, through his divine satsangs, taught people to treat innocent animals with kindness and not make them work beyond their capacity. He emphasized that animals should be cared for and treated like one’s own family members, and that providing them with good food and water was the secret to gaining blessings from the beloved Lord.

Sant Sai Satramdas also taught that if we do good to others, God will do good to us. Showing mercy to those who are hungry, thirsty, and troubled will result in God showering his mercy upon us, leading to prosperity. May we all understand the importance of divine blessings and selfless service.

Sacho Satram.
