Bhai Rangaram used to serve his Guruji with complete devotion. He would take care of his Satguru in various ways. But at the same time he had an inner desire that his Satguru shall grant him his Divine Powers. That means he was selfish and was serving his Guru ji with a hidden motive. Service should be selfless, then only the door to the eternal destiny opens, otherwise the service offered is considered futile. One loses his inner peace and calmness if he is burdened with desires and attachments.

One day Rangaram’s Satguru called upon him and said” Rangaram you have always taken my care but you served me with a desire to achieve my divine powers and so today, I am granting you these powers, but remember that in future you will not be able to handle these powers and they will become a burden on you, and then, you will try to get rid of them, and only the one who has powers 100 times more than the powers you will be possessing, will be able to free you from these powers to give you relief.”

Rangaram’s Satguru also said that he informed him about the future problems so that Rangaram should know that possessing Divine Powers does not make a person great but channelizing these divine powers in a proper way makes a person extraordinary special.

He also said that these divine powers, which he was granting him will give him problems but by the end of his life a great revered personality will appear before him who will guide him to the path of freedom. After saying all this Guru ji left for his destiny.”

In the beginning Bhai Rangaram felt very happy to possess the divine powers but later on when he grew old, he started facing the difficulties and became overburdened. He was unable to handle the powerful energies he possessed. He met many saints, sadhus and fakirs but no one had even an equivalent power like him. He was in search of someone who possessed the divine powers 100 times more than the powers he had. He started praying to God for help and then one day he got a clue that Shehenshah Satguru Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib was the only great Sant who was able to get him freedom and eternal peace of mind.

Then Bhai Rangaram with tears in his eyes went to Satguru Sai and pleaded with him, begged him for his mercy, so that he gets relief from his misery. Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satram Das who was known for his kindness and generosity blessed Rangaram and relieved him from the burden of powerful energies which he possessed due to his own selfish desires. Such was the Glory of Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib.

Sacho Satram.
