Raharki Sahib is a small village in Sindh Pakistan. It is a holy place where a Great Sant, Sai Satram Das Sahib was born on 25th October 1866. He was a Holy man, a highly revered Sant, whose blessings gave happiness to the unhappy, health to the sick & love, kindness, wealth & fame to all the needy people. People from different far off places, young, old, rich and poor, would go to him to seek his blessings. It is said that his words were very powerful, that means whatever he said came true. Sai Satramdas Sahib transformed the lives of thousands of people, around the world.
There are so many miracles, which people witnessed during the lifetime of Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib. e.g. It is said that once Nachhumal, a devotee of Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib, who was very poor and was suffering from multiple problems, asked a few of his family people to go and request Saijan to come and bless him, because, he believed that he will die within a few days. Those people went to meet Shehenshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib. Sai Satramdas Sahib asked them to stay in Raharki Saheb. Two to three days passed, and Shehenshah Satguru Sai, asked them to go back and tell Nachhumal, not to worry and everything will be fine.
These people who had come to meet Sant Satramdas Sahib and waited for 2 to 3 days for an answer from Sai Satramdas Sahib thought, that by the time they reach back , Nachhumal must not be alive. So they left for their village but when they reached there, they were surprised to find, that Nachhumal was alive and healthy. they asked him, that how did it happen. Nachhumal told them that actually he had passed away, but when his soul reached at the heaven, Shehenshah Sai Satramdas Sahib was sitting there, in his place of honor and he asked him to go back, and also informed him that he will die six months after Sai himself will leave the mother earth.
Shehenshah Sai Satramdas Sahib’s pious words came true, and after exactly six months of Sai Satramdas Sahib’s departure from this world, Nachhhumal passed away.
Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib was a great Yogi, a Mahayogi. He himself was God. He was a renowned sant on this mother earth, and a soulful, charismatic singer, of great spiritual powers. He had miraculous melodious voice. He used to go to many villages for Satsangs. He would sing in his touching and healing voice, and the melody of his voice, filled the space and electrified the entire atmosphere. He sang bhajans for 12 to 24 hours at a stretch. People forgot their food and everything of this materialistic world, and sat absorbed for hours together to listen to Sai’s mesmerising and divine voice.
Once a devotee of Sai Satramdas Sahib woke up in the middle of night and was shocked to see all the parts of the body of Shehenshah Sai Satramdas Sahib were lying detached. He started trembling in fear, and woke up another devotee, and both of them fell unconscious on witnessing such an inexplicable sight. When they woke up, they saw that Sai Satramdas Sahib was sitting in meditation. After Sai Satramdas Sahib got up from meditation, both those men told Shehenshah Sai Satramdas Sahib about what ever they saw, the previous night.
Sai Satramdas Sahib smiled and said that it was a stage of yoga, a stage where the soul of a person who is meditating, leaves the body. In this state, the soul attains liberation in the body itself, and meets the Lord and becomes one with him.
Many poor needy, blind, crippled, sadhus and Fakirs approached Sai Satramdas sahib for help. Sai Satramdas Sahib helped them and he looked after them personally. He used to say, that all , poor, needy, crippled and unprivileged people were the forms of his beloved Lord, and it was his duty to serve them.
